I just wanted say that I really don't mind if someone uses my art as their deviantart icon/avatar so long as:
the character is not owned by another deviant
the character is not owned by me (such as Jone Necile)

I would prefer being asked before hand so I can resize the image or frame it into a cute icon, but what really needs to happen is
add Icon art by :devlisajennifer:. to your comment signature. _{(can be smaller font but must be big enough to be seen)}

Not knowing how to edit your signature is no excuse.
I am more than happy to help you edit your signature if you don't know how.

While we're on the topic, you may not use any images of my artwork for your personal sites, personal use, personal gain either professionally or non-professionally.

NO, you may NOT use any images of my artwork for basing, copying, tracing, re-coloring, stock referencing, altering, Role-Playing, personal character pictures, commercial use, re-uploading, etc. -- without written permission by me.

Only the owner of the characters I make are permitted to upload images of their characters by me to their Facebook, twitter, blogs, etc. -- so long as credit is given, my signature remains intact, and if possible a link back to the original is given.
